It is said that in the 1970s, when the hotel was almost finished, the construction of the upper part was banned due to possible espionage from the neighboring military barracks. Since then, the citizens of Jičín have told each other many stories, but they have not stopped hoping…

The name of the restaurant comes from the melodious Italian word La Liberta, which means freedom . The number 42 at the end of the name represents the height at which the observation restaurant is located – 42 meters above the ground .
And that the fairytale Jičín and its surroundings , which you can see from the panoramic restaurant , really have a lot to offer. The dominant features are the Kozákov mountain and the ruins of the Trosky castle, many visitors are attracted by the Prachovské rocks… Everyone will find something for themselves in the still uncrowded landscape.
